Global gas prices rally on hot summer, storage demand
When I started working in the gas world (which feels eons ago) there was a simple structure in European gas storage. In summer we filled the storage up, in winter we use the extra gas to cope with peak demand. That was before Austrians started to put air conditioning into every room. This summer we have not exceeded the 36° mark and people talk about a hot summer. When just years ago we were at 42°. We have become softies. And storage does not fulfill its old job anymore.
