Global supply chains as a way to curb carbon emissions
When the term energy independence was touted for the first time during the shale revolution, many still thought that this was insanity and that it was better to buy the oil. Today we see how vulnerable those global supply lines are and that here is value in preserving one’s ability to do function with local produce. That’s not always possible but when it is, go for it.
