Global warming has saved 500,000 lives in England and Wales in the last 20 years
Humanoids have roamed the plains of Africa for more than 2 million years. The oldest specimen of Homo Sapiens, the modern humanoid is more than 300.000 years old. Only about 10.000 years ago, when the world warmed, we passed from the Old Stone Age to the New Stone Age and on to the Space Age. If this warm age had not come about, we would still roam the plains as hunter-gatherers. We would still experience warm and cold periods but I doubt there would be anyone spending more than a thought about it. Survival was harder when it was cold and not when it was warm.
