GM Shows Why We Need a Green New Deal
The Green New Deal will be a perfect opportunity to fund projects that otherwise would never be funded. Why would they not be funded? Because most of the time they would be colossal misinvestments. White Elephants cannot remotely justify the investment. Wanna see how that works? Just look at China’s ghost cities or the satellite towns festering with crime around french big cities. In all those cases and more, the government knew better than the people wasting scare money and often creating nothing but misery. The GND would be that – on steroids. Business Plans of the future will not be about P&L, they will be about what feels good and how many political buddies can get their piece of the cake.
