The oldest continuously existing and alive reefs are hundreds of millions of years old. They have gone through times that were far hotter than not only today but even the warm periods of human history. Some have gone through the Jurassic which was so warm that the poles were permanently ice-free and there was a tropical forest at the south pole. And half a degree now shall kill them. Yeah right.
