OPEC was a club that had one big boy member that not only dominated the club, but it also ran the show and was willing to do stuff to manage the market. Whatever level of success they may have had with it. That is Saudi Arabia. Who is going to be the OMEC member that will throw his weight around to manage the market? Considering how badly OPEC often fared in spite of their centralized structure, how well would an OMEC do? Let them gang up – I am not worried.
