Greece Puts Coal Power Plants Shut Down in 2019 Back Into Operation…To Avert Winter Blackouts!
Why would Greece not be doing what countries like Germany do when their lofty goals turn out to be a debacle for the population. Clearly, cold and dark is not really an election winner so coal is just good enough to paper over the cracks in the system. But I have news: countries like Germany have long ago passed the point where this can go on much longer. Already now, Germany’s energy scene would collapse without purchases. But when the sellers to Germany need their own energy to paper over their own cracks, the importer goes down. I am looking at you California.
