Green hydrogen could already be competitive in some regions
Another bubble in the making. But as long as some expensive consultants can claim another win for green policies, no tweak is off-limits. The mirage of cheap wind and solar has always been exactly that. How many claims did we have that wind and solar are cheaper than anything else. And then, when you stop subsidies, they instantly go bust while still enjoying some very significant advantages on the market. Green Hydrogen is an ultra-expensive endeavor – better be straight about it because this bubble will blow up much faster than the preceding ones.
