Essentially that’s a big floating lithium-ion battery. The same stuff that powers Electric Vehicles – only a lot bigger. We have seen those vehicles burst into flames for no discernible reason many times. What is going to ensure this won’t happen with this boat? Can it even be ensured ever? How will the world react when one of those boats bursts into flames and burns hundreds of partygoers to a crisp? Will that be the fault of Climate Change as well? Does anyone ever think of those things?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
