Greens offer support for safeguard mechanism on condition it blocks new coal and gas

I like that. The Greens stand by their bottom line, they want to serve the tiny fringe of people that actually share those beliefs. That is a good thing. That is what they should do. They represent their voters. Never mind that this gets them out of tune with the vast majority of people very fast but then again, thats a good thing too. We need to expose the truth to the people, the truth that life with all the policies that the radical climate crew wants to drop on us will be nothing short of awful. The people need to feel it, need to come to the realization that their jobs, their houses, their cars, and everything they ever liked about life is on the line. Go on Greens, and push the crazy train as much as you can.

The Greens say they are prepared to "live with" concerns over the government's signature plan to reduce emissions if new coal and gas projects are blocked from development.
