Heartless: Renewable Energy Advocates Hate the Poor & Want to Keep Them That Way

Many years ago I was active in a new political party before they rose to national fame. I was a member of two of their working groups, one of them was energy. One day, I brought up the topic of energy poverty due to renewable energy policies. Pretty much anyone in the room objected and told me it was a non.issue. There is no poverty in Austria. I so happened that the HQ of those political party was on the top floor of a building that housed a market where the poor could get free food. I urged all of them to look out the window and tell me how long the queue was before the market. So much for there are no poor”. Every winter people die as they cannot afford to heat anymore because energy prices are so darn high to pay for the RE subsidies. Those dead are on Renewable Energy.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
