Yeah right – it’s like “I am from the government and I am here to help you”. Many countries have recovered economically when governments were weak and almost non-functional. Yes, I know there were other examples aplenty but if I take only Italy in the Nineties when the old party system fell apart. There was a period of chaos in Rome which turned out to be economically beneficial. Governments could not meddle so much with the way more rational decisions that small private entrepreneurs make. The big companies like strong governments – but we need lots of small entrepreneurs that cover the needs of the people.
