I can say with absolute certainty that the past 7 days were among the most nerve-wracking in my life as a watcher of international politics. I don’t want to comment on the events now but rather give all of you some light-hearted fun that also has a serious message to deliver. 2020 was the first year when people felt on their own bodies that it got colder – everywhere.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
