Every single historian on Earth knows about the Medieval Warm Period, the Roman Warm Period, and the warm periods that allowed the empires of the ancient pre-antiquity world to blossom. And also about the cold periods that meant the end of more than just one thriving culture. We have copious evidence of large forests in Greenland that could not have grown in today’s climate. We have 1000-year-old human settlements that could not have been where they are as this part was supposed to be buried under eternal ice. Natural, partly quite sudden climate shifts are extremely well documented. But they are not part of the narrative so they get ignored. They cannot be so ignorant, this is done on purpose.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
