How do you make some money on the quick in those days? Easy, make some sort of study – it does not have to live up to scientific standards – and claim that there is some potential negative impact caused by climate change and bang – doors open up and you get your grants or whatever else you were angling for. I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
