Batteries have also gotten cheaper because China ( the biggest battery maker) manipulates the market. In the hope that in the future they will have something like a quasi-monopoly. Fundamental costs of production seem to be quite a bit higher for those cheap Chinese batteries. We are hiring physical limits. We are at the slightest solid – thats the end of the periodic table. I expect the battery race to fizzle rather quick.
