We are going into a solar minimum. It gets colder – so much is safe to say. But if this is to be a deep minimum, it’s going to get very cold for very long. Thats the death of the Global Warming movement and at this point, energy policies will have to be thought. America’s coal reserves will provide a great underpinning of its economic coping strategy. More coal for industry and power production will mean a very competitive energy landscape and Natural Gas can provide the backbone for a mobility revolution. Surplus oil could be exported. When it gets really cold, nothing bets flaming warmth.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
