Hyliion’s Hypertruck ERX solution to feature Cummins natural gas engine

Thats the future of heavy transport. Using Natural Gas as a generator for electricity allows using a smaller NG engine that runs on an optimized regime while the electric motors push the truck and use all of their massive torque advantages. It combines power with range and extreme cleanliness as emissions from this truck are so low, that one might think they are non-existent. Outstanding development.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
