Political establishments the world over have fossilized for decades now. Political parties have completely enveloped societal trends of every hue. It does not matter if you are on the left or the right, it’s the same prison for everyone. There were new parties but most of them were clones from the established parties designed to take some steam out of public anger. But that does not work anymore. True alternatives are emerging. This is a messy process and lots of China will be broken while it works itself out but there will be a new world emerging at the other end. In the US, it will upend the established parties to the core as it already does with Republicans. In Europe, there will be new movements.
