IENOVA expects decision on Mexico Costa Azul LNG export plant in early 2020

Building a pipeline to the other side of Mexico in order to export gas while Mexico is suffering gas shortages just shows us how myopic this world is. No matter what prices in Asia do, there is always a quite hefty transport premium on them that one does not suffer in Mexico. I am not opposed to the Costa Azul LNG export plant. But don’t forget the market on the doorstep. It could be better money than fickle Asians.
