How does one deal with an organization like NASA that seems to have transformed from a science-based organization into a quasi-religious cult? One would expect a true scientist to be fact and data-driven and yet, it’s all about projections, assumptions, models, and conjecture. Plus a heavy dose of narrative. To work in NASA one has to be a believer. A true drinker of Cool Aid. Those large organizations are as far removed from the concerns of the majority of the population as can be. They thrive on swamps. In the US, the single states need to reaffirm themselves and cut DC back. Something similar has to happen in Europe.
