In reality, green energy increases total energy consumption
Nature has given us condensed, easy-to-handle energy and on this energy form, we have built our world. If we reverted back to wind and solar as well as batteries, we cannot hope to maintain humanity as we have it now. At least 9/10ths of the world population would have to be culled and many of those who would be allowed to live would have to drastically lower their living standards. Never mind that this would also be a death blow to our economic system as it relies on consumers. And on Democracy as we know it as I don’t imagine that many would agree to be culled. Time to come clean on this, alarmists.
