India Seen Emulating China Growth in LNG Use to Fight Pollution
India is not China. Its a lot more clogged up in red-tape. China moves quickly once it has decided on a course of action. Not so India. Dont get me wrong – LNG would make a hell of a lot of sense for India in many ways. Not least of all in order to clear the skies. But as breathtaking and unexpected the China story was, the odds are low for India to press the repeat button soon.
China’s dramatic increase in liquefied natural gas imports over the past two years may have hogged the headlines, but India may well emulate its neighbor in switching to the cleanest and fastest-growing fossil fuel.
