India to see $66 billion investment in gas infrastructure
Who sees why this is a smart move? They pretend that they combat Climate Change with this. I think this is nothing but virtue signaling to their constituents and the international community. But if (when) it turns out that Climate Change is crap, this same investment will still be economical to make for them as they replace more expensive oil with much cheaper gas and clean up their smog problem as well. The message is “NG will protect the climate, and if this is not your issue, you will still like the savings and the cleaner air”. Smart move.
