Industry groups push potential of bio-LNG as transportation fuel
My senses are not tingling when I hear bio-LNG. Don’t get me wrong – bio-LNG is great premium fuel but it also comes at a premium price. Using it as a vehicle fuel to replace diesel is a very good thing to do and vastly better than burning it for power production. So, even if I don’t go completely bonkers at the mere mention of it I still strongly support it. But let’s be clear – regular LNG is still my kind of jam as it’s far more affordable and does to raise and food-fuel issues. Oh, I forgot – did you know that bio-LNG vehicles beat any hydrogen or E-Vehicle when it comes to CO2. They are actually carbon negative. No other vehicle can make that claim and although it comes at a premium, it’s still cheaper and better than electricity and hydrogen.
