One should not be surprised that those benefiting from the pork in DC shout the loudest. In old, mature democracies, only the worst can come to the top. I am talking about the entire political class, regardless of feigned affiliation. They are all in it for the money only. It’s a get-rich-quick scheme paid for entirely by those the politicians pretend to represent. And the schemes to siphon off money become ever more daring, ever more elaborate. At first, they skim from the top, then they go for substantial parts of any program until there is no more useful in any program. Bringing corruption to light was bound to ruffle feathers. The copious shouting confirms that Musk is right on target.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
