Lets put it together: the lowest market prices for LNG ever. Oversupply on an epic scale. Reduced economic output due to a virus. Maybe a looming worldwide recession. Comparatively high upstream costs. And now insecurity due to militants attacks. I have seen LNG project fall apart for lesser reasons.

Insurgents stage 'very violent' attack close to gas projects in Mozambique

Suspected Islamist insurgents attacked a town in the north of Mozambique near billion-dollar gas projects managed by Total and Exxon Mobil early on Saturday morning, a police and a security source told Reuters.
