It’s not only Congo-Brazzaville. It’s the entire region. It’s woefully underexplored as the safety risks there were always pretty hard to mitigate. Especially in Congo-B’s much bigger neighbor Congo-Kinshasa or the ex-Zaire. Funny, Congo has pretty much anything anyone wants. Rich in metals, oil, and gas, gems, wildlife, and agriculture this country should be paradise. On the other side, Switzerland is poor in natural resources and mountainous. It should be poor. Natural resources are not the defining factor when it comes to riches it seems.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
