Iran seeks to read Trump’s mind
Well, then Iran really does not get it. They have just delivered the single most powerful shot in the arm that shale could ever hope for. All shale companies valuations go through the roof. The world discovers the value of oil from stable countries. And I bet that the great leader will soon receive a visit from the great chairman Xi telling him to cut it as China suffers from those supply disruptions for real. The US does not. Saudi Arabia has promised that they would honor supply contracts, but its going to be heavier crude. Just so happens that the US supplies light sweet crude – perfect for cutting with the heavy stuff from Arabia. Trump likes low oil prices, but he also likes a thriving shale industry.
