Is it climate socialism – or eco-fascism?
Every totalitarian system needs a bogeyman factor in order to come or stay in power. When people are afraid of something they cannot possibly comprehend, they can be squeezed dry. So it happened during the inquisition, when Hitler took power in Germany or when the Socialists took over a whole swathe of countries ruining them in the process. Without the invisible outside enemy, they could not possibly have gone where they went eventually. When WW2 was over, people living in the Reich could not comprehend that they were the bad ones. They were told that their cause was just, that they did the right thing. And the mob can be ruthless but they want their good life. And geen energy robs them of this. It’s already starting so we are going to see some interesting developments over the next couple of years.
