Is NOAA trying to warm the current 8+ year pause?

We are in a fundamental dilemma that has no good solution. We must believe all kinds of things. We must believe everything that we cannot verify ourselves so if you are not a chemist, you will have to take it on faith that the air you breathe is 71% nitrogen or if you are not an astronomer, you have to believe that Neptune is the last planet and so it goes on for millions of facts. What are facts anyhow? But we can’t live like this – doubting everything. So we chose to believe in science, in authorities, in those who are supposed to know better. That’s why, when those who are supposed to know are caught lying, is so disastrous. Science commits suicide before our eyes.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
