Is the US Shale Boom Really Slowing Down?
Wild growth always leads to a period where more sober minds take over and lead the industry into much-needed consolidation. many things are being tried in the wild years and not all of them are worthy. They need weeding out. Does anyone remember the 2000 dotcom bust? I worked in a startup at the time and this startup sure did not make it like so many others. There was a lot of talk that internet-based business was to be a dud after all. Look now. Does it look like a dud to you? In spite of many shirts lost, there were even more won. The internet has outgrown its old shell by orders of magnitude. So will shale.
