It Doesn’t Have to be This Way: Australia’s Energy Crisis, America’s Energy Surplu
It sounds like a joke that a resource-rich country like Australia faces an energy crisis. This was self-inflicted. In theory, Australia should enjoy some of the lowest energy prices on Earth and also a perfectly secure energy supply and distribution system. The current government was supposed to have been voted in to take care of the crisis. I don’t see them doing that. Meanwhile, things get tougher for the ordinary Australian. The next election might well be payday.
