It’s Time for America to Embrace Carbon Border Adjustments
Funny – Democrats always opposed any notion of a Border Adjustment Tax until they found out it would be a handy tool to reel in even more money for their pet projects. The fundamental mechanism of the Border Adjustment Tax is valid. If a country that exports lots of stuff by using the most destructive methods to its environment and its own people it creates an unfair advantage. Market nations that are net importers would have a counterbalancing mechanism. It’s a shame it comes on top of the carbon scam but this ghost won’t go back into the bottle.
