Japan faces energy supply crisis
And japan won’t play around with its energy security anymore for long. They will put nuclear back into the limelight with a host of new safety mechanisms attached to it and they will stock up on coal. Coal makes nice heaps that will sit there and wait until needed for power generation. That’s incredibly attractive as storage is easy and cheap. Not something that one can do with natural Gas if geology is an issue. NG won’t become a lot smaller than now but the growth will be in reliables.
