Japan Likely Needs New Reactors to Meet Carbon Goal: Ex-Minister
Not long after Fukushima, I predicted that Japan will start building new nuclear reactors before 2030. I was laughed upon. Does not look so ridiculous after all. I also predicted that Germany would get into new nukes again and I am holding fast o this one. I made a number of crazy predictions in my life and some of them were wrong. But some things are just common sense. People signal virtue when they are comfy to muse about whatever. When they freeze in the dark, when they run to make a living by a hair, they have no time and energy to signal anything. They want to get better fast. And when that groundswell gets big enough, politicians will give them what they want in exchange for votes. #Nuclear #Japan
