Japan scrambles for LNG amid winter electricity crunch
Japan will put the nukes back on and will also go for more coal. So much for the zero-carbon pledges. But if they want more LNG at a time when they need it, they can enter into cooperation with European players that can give up cargos they can cover with pipeline gas and storage. There is a price to that of course but lights going out costs more than that. But they will have to be pro-active. European players are a bit sleepy.
