Japanese LNG imports to fall off with nuclear restart
Japan does not have the luxury to pay for pie in the sky anymore. They need affordable power, and they need security of power production. And their economy does not allow for a lot of crap anymore. Whoever doubted their return to nuclear must get his brain cut at the hairdresser. One day, Germany will return to nuclear. Ridiculous? Just wait.
LNG imports into Japan are expected to drop off 10 percent this year, as the country rebuilds its nuclear sector following the 2011 meltdown at the Fukushima power plant, according to a new report from the U.S. Department of Energy.
