Truth – a dangerous brew. Everyone seems to mix up a batch of his own, resulting in holy chaos. How can people be swayed if there are always those who ask questions, who detract? I grew up 5 km from the Iron Curtain – behind it total and undisputed truth reined supreme. Not only was there no First Amendment – it was dangerous to say anything that contradicted the official narrative. We know how that experiment ended. Every totalitarian system wants to curb free speech and they will find a ton of excuses why this is a necessary evil. Are all those contradicting the official narrative always right? No way. No shortage of fools on the other side. But they are not what the fools on the “right side” are afraid of.
