KOGAS to Produce Liquefied Hydrogen Utilizing Wasted LNG Cold Energy
When we developed the GATE terminal in the Netherlands, we had a lot of brainstorming sessions. Thinking about how we could pull more value out of the LNG. And sure enough, we thought about putting the cold energy in LNG to use. That was surprisingly hard. because everything one does requires investments and if the cost of using LNG cold outweigh the cost of generating cold in the first place, just dump.
