Does this mean that we are closer than 20 years away from commercial fusion? Or that it’s still 20 years but no more a floating target that moves away as we are supposed to get closer. Because thats what we had so far. Something that was never more than 20 years away – even 30 years ago. In the meantime, we need realistic energy choices. We can’t bet the future of humanity on a lab rat.
