LA will ditch plan to rebuild natural gas plants
Thats a good thing. California should also be unhooked from the power grid of the rest of the United States to avoid fossil power imports. This would make the grid collapse as renewables cannot provide what coddled Californians want. Warm showers when you want it, meals when you want it, your favorite soap opera when you want it, … Let that hit them and let them steam in their stew for a while. Californians will learn the lesson and make sure that more sensible leaders win after the next election. And the rest of the US has an example on how not to do it. Everyone wins.
Los Angeles will abandon a plan to spend billions of dollars rebuilding three natural gas power plants as the city moves toward renewable energy, Mayor Eric Garcetti said Monday.
