All political parties necessarily run into that contradiction. They must appeal to voters and vast numbers of them at that if they hope to ever get close to real power. But all those virtue-signaling policies are perfectly designed to please only a wafer-thin minority and kick the majority squarely in the behind. It takes a while until the majority is getting the whiff of what those elites are up to with them and what it really means for them but this is happening just now and they don’t like what they see. The majority wants miracles and promises but they also don’t believe those promises anymore. Political parties will have to deliver. No more climate virtue signaling.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
