Leaked EU files show Brussels cover-up and collusion on Putin’s Gazprom abuses
Has anyone doubted that? We have known about Russian gas pricing practices for way longer than a decade. In a sense, I don’t blame them. They try to squeeze the lemon as much as they can. Any company tries to get as much for their wares as they can get away with. I lay much more blame on those nations that allowed themselves to be blackmailed this way. The Polish and the Lithuanians built their LNG terminals. It was not cheap and they made some bad mistakes on the way but at least they acted. So, why not see Russian gas pricing as an incentive for doing better?
