Let’s just ignore the sense or lack of it of such a project at all or even the situation in Angola and this part of the world in general. But how well does this go down with the population in the US that’s struggling to make ends meet? I can’t imagine this is going down well with them. So if there is a relatively big risk for the elections and little to gain for a professed goal that’s totally illusory anyhow, what could be another good reason to spend the 900 million? Is Hunter involved in any of this by any chance?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
