Lithium supply outlook hangs in the balance
The problem with Lithium is not the resource base. The problem is at what cost it is recoverable. Just öike with any resource there are degrees of recoverability,. Like in oil. The commodity might be the same or comparable, but it might be hard to reach, hard to process, hard to transport and/or combinations thereof plus other factors. Thats true for any commodity that must be scraped out of the Earth’s crust. They have produced the “easy Lithium” so far. Now we need to go after harder to get (i.e. more expensive) resources.
