LNG Exports Raise Natural Gas Prices for Americans

As a European, I am very happy for any drop of US LNG helping us through cold winters. But if I was American I would sure know better to do with the cheap shale gas than exporting it. The US could gasify its transport system, make it cheaper to operate, and clean its city’s air in the process. It would also free up oil that is currently being consumed in the states, make the states much safer in terms of energy security as it is a domestic resource, and export oil products that carry a much better sales price premium.
