LNG-fuelled trucking accelerates in Asia, denting diesel demand

Ah, LNG takes the crown once again. How is that? Asian cities are among the most polluted in the world. The air quality especially in Chinese cities is often so bad that people have to stay indoors and respiratory diseases are the highest on Earth. A true problem. Trucks are not the biggest contributor to this but they are a big one. Diesel trucks that is. If the same truck runs on methane (LNG or CNG matters little here) there is no more smog – in fact, a methane engine cleans the air as its exhaust treatment will filter the originally used air. Going LNG cleans your air. Might be a big reason to go forward. Never mind that LNG beats any other fuel in pretty much any other metric as well.
