LNG recovery in Asia depends on China, India policies
I must have said that so many times that I would not be surprised if some of you throw up when they read it. If LNG cannot break the cycle of stupid by making itself dependent on some regional markets that can turn on a dime, it will get every more and every stronger boom and bust cycles. LNG must go into fueling heavy horsepower engines. It’s a perfect fuel for those vehicles as its clean, economical and technologically mature plus it enables very long distances with one tank filling. But this market will not kick the door in with the LNG industry. They must develop it. The record – so far – is poor.
