Lordstown Motors Says It Doesn’t Have Cash to Start Commercial Production

A couple of years ago it was announced that the generous subsidies for wind and solar would peter out here in Austria. Panic struck operators of such assets – never mind that they should be written off anyhow. They immediately declared that the day the taxpayer-funded cash injections would stop, they would stop operating at once. How long can things the market manifestly does not want survive?

The electric-truck startup said in a filing that it has doubts about whether it can continue as a going concern through the end of the year.
